at present, i teach students in person over zoom with external microphones to optimize sound quality.
Alex Knutrud is the second trombone in the Bangor Symphony Orchestra and is a frequent substitute in orchestras all over the northeast. As a pedagogue, Alex runs Trombone Guide Studios, an online lesson studio with award winning students all across the world. In addition to his teaching and performing, Alex composes and arranges music and pedagogical materials and methods, all of which is available under IMBrassworks publishing. Alex's formal studies were done at Ithaca College, Boston University, and The New england Conservatory of Music.
